The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy is critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials by opening packages, crates, and shipments and checking materials for visible damage.
  • Verify quantities, parts, and part numbers against packing lists to ensure receiving accuracy.
  • Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, overages, and other discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate receiving and material documentation.
  • Deliver incoming materials to Quality Inspection when required and move approved materials to the appropriate storage locations.
  • Enter receiving and material transactions into the company's business system to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Properly label, store, and organize incoming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices when storing and issuing inventory.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient storage and receiving areas.
  • Rearrange storage areas as needed to accommodate changing inventory levels and incoming materials.
  • Pull and stage materials from stock to support production requirements and job deadlines.
  • Deliver materials to designated work centers or staging areas in a timely manner.
  • Handle, package, label, and distribute materials using proper techniques to prevent damage.
  • Assist with shipping activities, including preparing and packaging products according to specific packaging instructions.
  • Complete shipping activities accurately and on schedule.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure that only authorized personnel receive or distribute materials.
  • Support daily data entry and documentation requirements within the business system.
  • Operate equipment necessary to move, handle, package, and store materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and General Requirements for Team Members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant material handling, warehouse, receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience.
  • Previous receiving experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking parts, quantities, and documentation.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, high-detail environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
