Intervala is looking to add additional Electromechanical Inspectors to our team on 2nd shift.
The Electromechanical Inspectors will inspect electromechanical parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards.
- Inspect electromechanical parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards
- Perform acceptance activities according to quality plans, procedures, and instructionsÂ
- Perform basic inspections as part of acceptance activities
- Defers more complex inspections to more senior inspectors
- Rarely works without guidance or oversite from more senior inspectors
- Record results of acceptance and inspection activities by entering data into the MES
- Support activities to address identification and disposition of nonconforming material
- Report quality problems and findings to appropriate personnel
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Beginner level knowledge of ERP and MES systems
- Knowledge of IPC-610Â and IPC-620
- Ability to apply and use measuring devices including continuity tester, magnification device/microscope, eye loop, caliper, micrometer
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, process sheets, specifications, and instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailÂ
- Ability to work in a high volume environment

Required Experience & Education
- High school diploma; Associate degree in related technical discipline preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant job experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in electromechanical assembly and wiring
