Activities:

•    Work according to HSE requirements (LOTO, cleaning…) and promote safety mindset on day-to-day basis. 
•    Inspect parts. Apply visual and gage inspection according to Work Instructions. 
•     Identify defects on parts.  
•     Escalate appropriately when defects are found.
•     Assist in training employees on proper inspection methods and defects.
•    Check quality of parts and Operator performance at each manufacturing process.  Escalate problems.
•     Audit and escalate Operator’s adherence to work instructions.
•    Perform additional Audits such as LPA, In-process, etc.
•    Monitor rework process and verify part conformance to specification.
•    Maintain production samples in proper storage locations.  
•    Keep accurate Quality Records, both electronic and written.
•    Practice and support current IMS procedures within scope of responsibility.
•    Maintain work area in neat and orderly fashion in accordance with 5S principles.
•    Assist in other work as directed by Operations and/or Quality Engineer.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Able to successfully pass a color blindness assessment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Strong problem-solving skills
