SUMMARY Overview of the position

We are looking for a highly motivated team player with a real passion for hockey, its players, and the trading card hobby. The right person is eager to work, jumps in without being asked, and cares about the products as much as the process.

This position coordinates and secures autograph content, game-used equipment, and other existing contractual assets, primarily for inclusion in the Company’s trading card product lines, with an emphasis on the Company’s NHL licensed products. The role maintains day-to-day communication and working relationships with talent, agents, athletes, and other personalities tied to autograph, equipment, and related asset needs that support the product lines. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Acquire and deliver autographs, game-used equipment, and other assets by scheduled dates for trading card and memorabilia product releases. 
  • Available for regular Company travel assignments, including international, weekend, and holiday trips, often with little advance notice. 
  • Create Purchase Order releases in JDE for talent contract purchases and provide talent with payment and account statement information as needed. 
  • Work with internal staff to resolve issues and coordinate project assignments against tight trading card and memorabilia product deadlines. 
  • Work with outside partners, including in-field signing representatives, agents, athletes, and artists to coordinate signing sessions and mailings within set deadlines. 
  • Maintain working relationships between the Company and agents, athletes, leagues, professional teams, and other personalities. 
  • Conducts private UDA memorabilia in-person signings with Company-contracted talent, as requested by management. This does include travel and private event setups. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • College Degree preferred, but not required 
  • 2+ years of experience in the field of project coordination or related area.

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, troubleshooting, customer service and relationship building abilities. 
  • Professional demeanor; team player orientation. 
  • Ability to interface with internal and external parties at all levels. 
  • Knowledge of commonly used project coordination concepts, practices and procedures. 
  • Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment. 
  • A high degree of confidentiality required. 
  • Hands-on, energetic and motivated self-starter with the ability to work additional hours as required. 
  • Ability to travel on behalf of the Company with very little advance notice. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Proficiency in the following software or systems: MS Office.
