Pay: $17–$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials

The Learning Experience – Canton is looking for an enthusiastic Toddler Lead Teacher who loves working with busy, curious little learners.
Toddlers are developing language, independence, confidence, and social skills at an incredible pace. You’ll create a structured and nurturing classroom that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, move, communicate, and learn.
What You’ll Do
- Â Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroomÂ
-  Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. CurriculumÂ
- Â Create hands-on activities supporting language, movement, creativity, and explorationÂ
- Â Encourage independence and positive social-emotional developmentÂ
- Â Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitionsÂ
- Â Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidanceÂ
-  Observe children’s development and support individual milestonesÂ
- Â Communicate regularly with familiesÂ
- Â Guide and collaborate with Assistant TeachersÂ
- Â Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirementsÂ
What We’re Looking For
- Â High School Diploma or GED requiredÂ
- Â Previous professional toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience strongly preferredÂ
- Â Lead classroom experience is a plusÂ
- Â CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferredÂ
- Â Strong classroom management and communication skillsÂ
- Â Patient, energetic, nurturing, and dependableÂ
- Â Must meet applicable Michigan childcare licensing requirementsÂ
