Responsibilities

Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider’s order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery. Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.a

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  •  

    PREFERRED

  • One (1) year of experience as an Infant Feeding Prep Tech.
  • Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):

    7a-7:30p
