This is a hands-on, highly organized role for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems, working with people, and making sure the details are taken care of. You'll work closely with employees, managers, and the HR team across onboarding, benefits, employee records, HR systems, compliance, and recruiting support.

What You'll Do
Own the Details

Manage the administrative side of the new hire process from offer acceptance through onboarding.

Coordinate New Hire Orientation and make sure new employees have everything they need to get started.

Prepare and process new hire paperwork, I-9s, E-Verify, and other employment documentation.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records.

Keep employee information, changes, and documentation up to date in our HRIS.
Support Our Employees

Serve as a go-to resource for routine HR questions and employee requests.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general benefits questions.

Help coordinate PTO, employee status changes, wage changes, and other HR transactions.

Partner with employees and managers to make sure HR processes are clear and easy to navigate.
Keep HR Running Smoothly

Assist with benefits administration, including reviewing monthly invoices and working with vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Support payroll and timekeeping administration by reviewing information and helping coordinate corrections.

Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other materials.

Help maintain required compliance documentation and track important deadlines.

Support recruiting efforts through job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment requirements.

Jump in on HR projects and other initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
You don't have to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, curious, and great with people.
Ideally, you bring:

2–4 years of experience in HR, administration, or a related role.

Experience with onboarding, employee records, benefits, payroll/timekeeping, or HRIS systems.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Experience with iSolved is a plus.

Construction industry experience is a plus.

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
