Freeman Recovery Center, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support medical and nursing staff in delivering excellent client care.
The role involves assisting with daily tasks, performing point of care testing, recording vital signs, and maintaining records in EMR systems.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with CPR and First Aid/AED certifications required, while CNA or MA certifications are preferred.
The position requires monitoring patients' needs and adherence to policies, as well as managing supplies and assisting with medication observations.

Medical Assistant

Purpose: Assist medical and nursing staff in providing an excellent client experience.

Job Duties:

Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily.
Perform point of care testing.
Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets.
Maintain detailed records in EMR systems.
Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.
Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner.
Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues.
Assist with observing medications as needed.
