 We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused individual to join our ambulatory team as a New Patient Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role to the practice by  coordinating appointments, managing patient records, gathering information, and communicating with patients and providers to provide care.
 Location: 55 Spindrift Dr Williamsville, NY 14221
  Department: Endocrinology
  Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, between 7:30am-4:30pm
Job Duties
- Obtains and scans medical records for consultations, including retrieving information via HealtheLink, contacting referring providers, and following up with lab companies as needed
- Schedules new patient consultations by coordinating with providers, ensuring availability and proper appointment setup
- Confirm consultation appointments and send out necessary paperwork to patients in advance
- Provides cross-coverage for front office Patient Service Representative (PSR) duties, assisting with check-in, scheduling, and general front desk support as needed
- Facilitates personalized onboarding for new patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout the intake process
- Serves as a single point of contact for new patients, streamlining communication related to appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and paperwork completion
- Reduces wait times and improves appointment efficiency by proactively collecting required documentation prior to the visit
- Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalency, required
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience with front desk operations, patient scheduling, phone handling, and customer service, strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- 5 years in an office setting, preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
