Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Bristol IN - Bristol, IN 46507Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st Shift Position Overview: The Warehouse Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated warehouse crane systems used to store, retrieve, and transport finished goods within Monogram Foods Bristol's high-rise freezer warehouse. This role requires strict adherence to all safety, food safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse productivity objectives. The Warehouse Crane Operator must demonstrate a strong commitment to Monogram Foods' safety culture by following crane operating procedures, maintaining communication with warehouse personnel, and exercising Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe conditions exist.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate warehouse crane systems to transport pallets vertically and horizontally within designated racking locations. Retrieve, store, and relocate finished goods according to inventory management procedures. Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems, radios, and operational worksheets as required. Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections at the beginning of each shift and report deficiencies immediately.  Verify operational readiness of sensors, lighting systems, emergency stop devices, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation. Communicate effectively with forklift operators, warehouse personnel, and supervisors regarding crane movements and storage locations. Follow all crane-zone communication requirements when entering, exiting, or suspending crane operations. Stop operations immediately when unsafe conditions, damaged pallets, blocked bays, or other hazards are identified. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, crane cabs, and warehouse locations. Assist with warehouse activities as assigned by leadership. Support continuous improvement, food safety, GMP, and quality initiatives. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, distribution, material handling, or crane/forklift experience preferred. Ability to learn warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology. Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.     Competencies and Skills: Physical Demands: Operators must successfully complete all required warehouse and crane certifications, including: Crane Operator Certification Crane Safety Certification Fall Protection Training Safety Harness Inspection Training Ammonia Awareness Training Escape Hood Training Fire Extinguisher Training Crane Zone Pedestrian Safety Training Lockout/Tagout (as required) Emergency Response Procedures Other site-specific training as assigned by Monogram Foods leadership Certification and qualification requirements must remain current throughout employment.   The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Work in freezer temperatures for extended periods. Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and twist throughout the shift. Work at elevated heights while following all fall protection requirements. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Work on concrete surfaces for extended periods. Operate equipment requiring hand-eye coordination and depth perception. Read inventory labels, computer screens, and operational documentation. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience. Food manufacturing or cold-storage experience.     The physical requirements listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Work on concrete floors for extended periods. Operate material handling equipment when certified. Work in freezer, cooler, and warehouse environments. Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Possess sufficient vision, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination to safely perform warehouse activities.
