Electrician

Basic Job Functions:

 Nucor Vulcraft Utah is seeking applications for the position of Electrician. The Maintenance Electrician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor while carrying out the duties and responsibilities required of the position. Primary responsibilities include working within and across multiple groups to maintain equipment and improve plant operation through troubleshooting as well as preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and other equipment in compliance with all plant safety and environmental practices and procedures. Electrician will be expected to continue developing skills and knowledge necessary to install, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical power and control systems within our facility.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3rd year Electrical apprentice progressing toward Journeyman electrician status
• Willingness to complete required offsite training required for position 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman electrician status
• Background in maintenance related area
