Join Our Team as a Workplace Banking Relationship Manager
Location: Bridgewater, MA, or Lawrence, MA | Full-Time
The Workplace Banking Relationship Manager executes the credit union's growth strategy through direct engagement with members and prospective members at events held onsite at workplace partners and elsewhere, and via telephone, video conferencing and email. Reporting to the VP, Workplace Member Growth & Financial Wellness, this role drives sustainable membership growth and product penetration, and assists in maintaining employer relationships, and the credit union's position as employees preferred financial institution. The manager also assists in financial wellness efforts, including conducting one-on-one sessions with members to educate them on how to achieve financial wellness.

- Drive new member growth by direct engagement with members and prospective members with an emphasis on checking accounts, direct deposit relationships, savings and certificate accounts, lending products, credit cards, digital banking enrollment, mobile wallet adoption, and mortgage and investment advisor referrals.
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies to increase new memberships, increase the number of products used b employee-members and the overall dollar value of each membership.
- Assist in the coordination of onsite and virtual outreach activities.
- Actively engage in follow-up activities to drive member growth and product acquisition.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to expand services offered to employer groups.
- Manage a database of members and prospective members within the CRM platform.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for complex banking needs, ensuring timely and personalized services.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify and provide informed recommendations and customized solutions.
- Resolve escalated member concerns with professionalism and urgency to maintain member satisfaction and trust.
- Maintain logs of sales activities and produce sales and sales projection reports.
- Assist the VP Workplace Member Growth & Financial Wellness in maintaining relationships with strategic Workplace Banking partners.
- Assist in the development of the organizations financial literacy strategy for workplace and community partners.
- Assist in the presentation of education programs, including webinars, seminars, workshops, digital content, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
What We’re Looking For (Your Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Three to four years of retail banking experience with direct customer contact.
- Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and emotional intelligence.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.Â
- Financial counseling or advisory certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial institutions.
Physical Demands, Equipment Used, and Work Environment
- Standing at events for extended periods.
- Transporting wheeled duffle bags weighing up to 40lbs.
- Sitting at a desk for extended periods.
- Fine motor skills for continuous computer keyboarding and mouse use.
- High volume of phone and video calls that require active listening and speaking.
- Regular attendance and office mobility required.
- Attend appropriate conferences and meetings, including those outside regular business hours, and travel as needed.
