Counter Sales Associate (Full-Time) – Nicklas Supply Inc.

Nicklas Supply, an employee-owned leader in plumbing, kitchen, and bath products, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This role combines customer service, sales, and order processing in a fast-paced branch environment.

Must have working knowledge of plumbing parts, their application, and the ability to suggest additional products relevant to the customers project.+

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and by phone with product selection, pricing, and availability
• Process orders accurately, including payments and order entry
• Promote products, upsell, and support sales growth
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
• Maintain product knowledge of plumbing supplies and industry trends
• Assist with inventory accuracy and stock organization
• Resolve customer issues, returns, and warranty claims professionally
• Operate material handling equipment safely (forklifts, jacks)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills
• Detail-oriented with a positive, team-first attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation

Additional Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (on-site)
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Requires standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the day
