Healthcare United is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join an established cardiology and electrophysiology program in Southern Connecticut.
This role is ideal for a PA with cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac device, or cardiovascular medicine experience who is seeking a full-time specialty practice opportunity.
The incoming provider will work alongside electrophysiologists, cardiologists, APPs, and clinical staff to support patients with arrhythmias, rhythm disorders, cardiac devices, and ongoing cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage electrophysiology patients
- Support care for arrhythmias and rhythm disorders
- Assist with pacemaker, ICD, and cardiac device management as appropriate
- Conduct follow-up visits and patient assessments
- Collaborate with physicians and cardiology team members
- Educate patients on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Support continuity of care within the cardiology service line
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Active or eligible Connecticut PA license
- Cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative specialty practice environment
