This position plays a critical role in supporting employees and leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle while ensuring alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and strategic objectives. The Regional Human Resources Generalist partners closely with operational leadership and employees to provide guidance in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, performance management, training, compliance, and HR operations. What You'll Do As a Regional Human Resources Generalist, you will: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, applicant screening, interview coordination, and hiring activities. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support recruitment strategies. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment verifications. Ensure all required new hire documentation and employment records are completed accurately. Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs that create a positive employee experience. Employee Relations & Performance Support Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on human resources policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Assist the Director of Human Resources with employee relations issues, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation. Support performance management processes by providing guidance on evaluations, coaching conversations, and corrective action documentation. Promote employee engagement initiatives and a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Help support employee development, retention, and succession planning initiatives. Benefits, Payroll & HR Administration Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions regarding available programs. Support payroll processing activities and maintain accurate employee information. Review payroll-related information for accuracy and coordinate resolution of discrepancies. Work closely with the HRIS Manager to maintain accurate position management data and employee records. Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation. Compliance & HR Operations Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, and recordkeeping requirements. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics as requested. Support organizational and departmental HR projects and initiatives. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other departmental activities as needed. Qualifications What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience. Experience supporting core HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance. Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leaders and team members. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.
