About the Team
The Core Financials team drives product direction and evaluation frameworks for agentic systems, collaborating directly with AI development teams to transform complex financial logic into production-grade capabilities. We power high-stakes enterprise financial workflows and invent and apply innovations, like the Financial Audit Agent (FAA) and Financial Test Suite (FTS), to drive unprecedented levels of accuracy, auditability, and intelligence at scale. Operating at the intersection of finance domain expertise and AI innovation, our team defines the functional direction and validation standards for the Workday Financials products. We collaborate side-by-side with central AI engineering teams to power the future of finance with enterprise--grade agents and capabilities that proactively manage and control risk, transform financial workflows, and unlock growth for our customers.About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, builder-minded AI Product Manager to accelerate the evaluation, iteration, and deployment of our agentic capabilities across Core Financials. Sitting directly within the Core Financials product team, you will own the delivery of production test and eval frameworks, drive deep customer discovery with finance leaders and partner ecosystems, and orchestrate complex technical integrations across AI Agent Factory, other platform organizations, and domain engineering teams.
This is a high-impact PM role for someone who thrives on building and executing: you will own the end-to-end evaluation pipeline for AI agents, partner directly with enterprise Finance teams, and establish self-service frameworks that allow sub-agents and skills to scale. By driving execution, stakeholder alignment, and customer insight, you will support the Core Financials product vision and monetize innovative offerings across the broader Financials AI portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Drive AI Test & Evaluation Frameworks: Design, build, and execute evaluation suites and benchmark metrics to validate agent reasoning, accuracy, and performance across Financial Audit Agent (FAA) and Financial Test Suite (FTS).
Customer & Ecosystem Discovery: Partner directly with enterprise customers and partner ecosystems to conduct deep discovery, run Early Adopter programs, and translate audit/finance requirements into agent capabilities.
Agent & API Integration: Define functional requirements for backend APIs and data services , orchestrating integrations between core financial engines, sub-agents, and the central AI Agent Factory.
Cross-Agent Ecosystem Alignment: Rationalize capabilities, data schemas, and workflows across adjacent financial agents to establish unified agentic patterns.
Scalable Product Frameworks: Develop standardized design patterns that enable distributed engineering and domain teams to rapidly build and deploy new audit test cases with minimal PM overhead.
Inbound Sprint & Feature Delivery: Serve as the primary Product Manager partner for engineering, UX, and research teams - unblocking technical edge cases, refining backlog requirements, and ensuring rapid, high-quality feature execution.
Executive & Stakeholder Communication: Synthesize complex agent capabilities, evaluation results, and product progress into compelling narratives for executive leadership, field teams, and customer advisory groups.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
For Sr. Level: Minimum of 8 years of product management experience shipping SaaS, B2B, or enterprise platform products.
For Principal Level: Minimum of 12 years of product management experience shipping SaaS, B2B, or enterprise platform products.
1+ years of hands-on experience building, testing, or deploying AI/LLM-powered products or agentic workflows.
1+ years technical fluency with AI evaluation methodologies, API architectures, and data schemas in enterprise software.
Other Qualifications:
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of enterprise financial workflows, accounting logic, or the Office of the CFO (e.g., audit sampling, procure-to-pay, close management, reconciliation).
Hands-on Builder Mindset: Proven track record of prototyping, building evaluation sets, and working side-by-side with engineering teams rather than managing purely through high-level strategy decks.
Ecosystem & Customer Agility: Ability to run technical discovery with enterprise finance leaders and Big 4 audit partners while translating user needs into rigorous functional specs.
Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to align matrixed engineering, platform, and product teams around shared API contracts and agent frameworks without direct authority.
Execution & Velocity: Strong bias for action, organizational skill to manage multi-thread dependencies, and comfort making crisp decisions with incomplete data in fast-paced environments.
You actively experiment with emerging AI technologies, agentic frameworks, and LLM evaluation tools on your own.
You enjoy getting into the details of financial transaction data, API specs, and evaluation datasets to prove model accuracy and customer ROI.
You excel at turning ad-hoc, complex technical processes into repeatable, self-service frameworks that empower other teams to build.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
Â
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
