Principal Architect

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Strategy, Business Consulting, or a related field and 10 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Principal Architect-related occupation.
• Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Strategy, Business Consulting, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Architect-related occupation.
• Position requires 8 years of experience in the following: Structured Enterprise Architecture practices for hybrid cloud or on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments; Architecture and design of highly distributed global cloud-based systems; Technical presentation to stakeholders and executive leaders; Network technology including routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls (Determining GCP Competitive Differentiators); and Database management of multiple databases or related application stacks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,350 - $222,000 + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities:

• Build trusted advisory relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders to identify priorities and design comprehensive strategies across the Google ecosystem.
• Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures to successfully implement solutions while providing best practices that optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with product management to manage holistic enterprise architecture relationships and govern cloud strategies.
• Partner with Value Engineering to articulate the total value of technical solutions and drive business growth through pipeline development and revenue generation.
• Empower partners to drive successful pilots and migrations while removing technical barriers to secure client wins and expand opportunities. Provide domain expertise around public cloud technology by promoting solutions at industry conferences and traveling to customer sites as required. Regional travel required at least 10% of the time to unanticipated worksites.
