Essential Functions

Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish supplies as needed.
Remove debris and maintain cleanliness around building exteriors and surrounding areas.
Operate and maintain high-speed and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and daily hospital operations.
Identify and report maintenance or repair needs in assigned areas.
Follow established safety, infection prevention, and environmental services procedures and standards.
Provide courteous and professional service while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently but also be a team player. - Good communication and comprehension skills.
