Job Description

It’s an exciting time here at Nexthink, one of exponential growth and transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee multiple financial functions, translating our financial strategies into action, plans, reporting requirements, procedures, and processes. The expectation of this individual is that they will be responsible for global oversight of the Company’s accounting processes, technical accounting, and reporting, consolidation, and reporting, financial systems, internal and external audits, etc. The impact expected from this role is to reduce and mitigate risk for the global organization – beyond just finance. It will be essential to develop relationships with senior leadership across the organization to improve the product to the finance organization’s internal and external customers.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee global controllership functions, including financial reporting, technical accounting, internal control, revenue accounting, general ledgers, accounts payable, global tax function and financial systems.Ā 
  • Oversee the global consolidated US GAAP audit and local statutory audits.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes including consolidation and financial statement preparation,Ā Ā 
  • Ensuring that financial statements are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Hands-on leadership on global technical accounting, including conducting research and drafting accounting memos on routine and non-routine transactions.
  • Hands-on leadership on building and strengthening internal controls over financial reporting (ā€œICFRsā€) based on the COSO framework.Ā 
  • Develop, execute, and maintain global financial systems and processes; drive automation and AI adoption to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support M&A
  • Drive audit committee meeting agenda and the preparation of meeting materials
  • Work closely with FP&A team on reporting efforts related to senior leadership presentations, budgeting, and monthly forecasting
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing global team.Ā

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Accounting or FinanceĀ 
  • CPA requiredĀ 
  • Minimum of 15 years of accounting experience, from a combination of a publicly traded company and PE backed companies with revenue over $300M.Ā 
  • Must be an existing Corporate/Global controller in a scaled environmentĀ 
  • 5 years in major public accounting firmĀ 
  • Experience in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls highly preferredĀ 
  • Experience in scaling up accounting operations in fast-growing environment
  • Experience supporting M&A activity
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process driven.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and unstructured environment
  • Experience managing a global team and interacting with global stakeholders.Ā
