KI in Bonduel is seeking a Plant Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations, environmental compliance efforts, facility improvements, and site safety initiatives at our manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do

Lead Maintenance Operations

  • Direct all plant maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and facility uptime.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign work for maintenance personnel based on changing business needs.
  • Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and equipment performance.
  • Supervise new construction, facility expansions, renovations, and remodeling projects.

Environmental Compliance

  • Manage environmental programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain environmental records, reports, investigations, and corrective action documentation.
  • Coordinate environmental audits and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Develop and communicate environmental policies and procedures.
  • Partner with environmental consultants and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Lead employee training and support continuous improvement initiatives related to environmental stewardship.

Promote a Safe Workplace

  • Serve as a key leader in advancing a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.
  • Participate in accident, injury, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with the Safety Manager and Human Resources to support EHS programs and required training.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Forklift Certification, Hazard Communication, and Emergency Response.

Manage Building & Grounds Operations

  • Oversee building systems, grounds maintenance, and site utilities.
  • Coordinate winter operations, including snow removal, salting, and severe weather readiness.
  • Manage janitorial services and vendor performance.
  • Maintain security camera and surveillance systems.
  • Oversee building automation systems and utility consumption monitoring.
  • Ensure the integrity and maintenance of roofs, exterior walls, foundations, windows, and other building components.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities management, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and facility infrastructure.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
