Quality. Service. Speed. QualificationsJob Summary The General Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a Konala restaurant. This role ensures operational excellence, team development, financial performance, and consistent execution of Konala standards. They lead the team, protect the guest experience, manage financial performance, and ensure all systems are followed without shortcuts. This position reports to the District Manager. Key Responsibilities Operational Execution Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening, shift transitions, and closing Ensure flawless execution of Cleanliness, Quality, Service, and Speed standards Maintain proper food preparation, portioning, and recipe adherence Execute new menu rollouts and promotional initiatives Maintain drive-thru speed and accuracy standards Ensure all operational checklists and procedures are followed daily Team Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members Train and develop leads and crew members Create clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable Foster a positive, disciplined, high-performance culture Conduct regular coaching conversations and performance reviews Build leadership bench strength within the store Financial Ownership Own store-level P&L performance Manage: Prime cost (Cost of Staff + Cost of Goods Sold) Labor scheduling and labor percentage Food cost and waste control Daily sales performance Review financial reports and implement corrective action when needed Ensure accurate daily cash reporting and deposit procedures Inventory & Systems Management Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate pars Oversee ordering and receiving processes Maintain waste logs and cost control practices Ensure proper food rotation (FIFO), labeling, and date marking Enforce execution of operational systems and tools Guest Experience Ensure exceptional customer service at all times Address guest concerns quickly and professionally Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements Maintain hospitality standards during peak and non-peak hours Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations Maintain sanitation standards and food safety practices Protect the team and guests through safe operational practices   Qualifications Holds themselves to a high standard with every action Leads by example and sets the tone for the store Takes initiative and solves problems Strong leadership and communication skills Financially responsible and detail-oriented Positive attitude with a growth mindset Management experience preferred, ideally in restaurant or customer service environments High school diploma or equivalent required   About Konala Our model is healthy fast food.  We offer our food with a convenient sit down locations and a drive thru only model. We also offer curbside ordering, online ordering, and third party delivery. Konala’s food is a lot like healthy meal prep foods.
