Job purpose
•   This position is responsible for improving efficiency and quality within the manufacturing department.  It is also responsible for operating and set-up of tools within the Blow molding, Extrusion and Injection molding department as required in a safe manner in order to prevent equipment and tool damage.  Starting mold presses up safely & efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities
•   Follow the written methods and sequence of operations in performing various machine operation, auxiliary equipment or assembly tasks.
•   Work on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
•   Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.  All changes or departures from instructions require approval from Supervisor or Production Manager.
•   Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to product and process; to identify and record any problems relating to the product and process; and to initiate, recommend or provide solution through designated channels.
•   Trouble shoots problem jobs.
•   Maintain all set up tools and supplies. Â
•   Assists in training production support people.
•   Understands and follows the Mold Tag System.
•   Dispose purge in appropriate/designated containers.
•   May operate auxiliary equipment or do assembler at the pressÂ
•   Must comply with the Operators Quality Standard sheet or quality guidelines from floor inspectors for specific jobs.
•   Will adhere to all guidelines pertaining to the TASUS Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Qualifications
•   High School Diploma or equivalent
•   Strong mechanical and aptitude skills

Physical requirements
•   Frequent standing, walking, use of hands, climb, bend, crawl, etc.
•   Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.Â
