Retail Sales Associate

Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery is currently hiring friendly faces to work in our retail bakery.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing superior guest services in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This position is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders and payments, and creating a positive energetic atmosphere for the guest.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining the look and feel of a well-run store. Being resilient under pressure. Guest Service/Shift work. Welcomes guests into the store. Takes guest orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Prepares beverages and serves bakery products according to Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery policies and procedures. Develops personal ongoing relationships with customers. Floats between counter sales, guest service or wherever help is needed. Manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures. Ensures floors are clean and free of debris. Stocks and organizes the store as needed. Ensures dining area is clean, free of debris and well maintained.

Experience: Restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred but not required.

Shifts Available:  5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Tuesday through Saturday

Salary: $16.00/hour plus tips
