Part-Time Driver – Sports Media Events

Job Overview

A sports media provider is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Driver to support event travel throughout the fall season.

This role involves driving a pickup truck while towing a 30-foot trailer to sports events, primarily throughout the Midwest. The position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with long-distance driving, multi-day travel, and operating a vehicle with a large trailer.

There will be approximately 10 multi-day trips this fall, with the opportunity for significantly more work in the future. Drivers who perform well this season may be considered for 50+ events next year.

Responsibilities

• Drive a pickup truck while safely towing a 30-foot trailer
  
• Transport equipment to and from sports media events
  
• Complete multi-day trips primarily throughout the Midwest
  
• Follow scheduled travel routes and event timelines
  
• Safely park, maneuver, and secure the truck and trailer
  
• Maintain professional communication with the operations and event teams
  
• Monitor the vehicle and trailer during travel and report any issues
  
• Select and book your own hotel accommodations within the approved trip budget
  
• Represent the company professionally while traveling and attending events
  

Compensation

• $300 per working day
  
• $150 per non-working/day-off day while traveling
  
• Hotel accommodations covered within the approved trip budget
  

Schedule & Travel

• Part-time / seasonal position
  
• Approximately 10 multi-day trips during the fall season
  
• Travel will primarily be throughout the Midwest
  
• Trip duration and schedule will vary depending on the event
  
• Additional event opportunities may become available based on performance
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  
• Experience driving pickup trucks and/or towing large trailers preferred
  
• Comfortable towing and maneuvering a 30-foot trailer
  
• Comfortable with long-distance and multi-day travel
  
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently and follow travel schedules
  
• Flexibility to travel based on event schedules
