If so, our Registered Behavior Technician (Floater) Position might be a great fit for you! 

A successful candidate for this position must have a strong interest in working 1:1 with children with varying levels of skill strengths and maladaptive behaviors in a highly individualized and supported environment. Sessions may be carried in the clinic or in-home setting. Early Autism Services (EAS) is an established provider of ABA with over 11 years of experience implementing high quality programming nationwide. We are looking for a motivated and driven candidate to grow with our organization and to work well with our team. This will be a 40 hours guaranteed per week position paid at $18-$20 an hour providing direct therapy services on a rapid PRN (as needed, on call) basis. This means that your schedule will fluctuate daily based on the needs of the clients needing services each day, and as requested by the branch leadership team. You will be guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. You are expected to be available up to 40 hours per weekThis is an ON CALL position. On call means that you are able to be present to cover a session within an hour's notice. On Call Floaters are relied upon to provide coverage for technicians who may request time off during the holidays, when coverage needs are more prominent. If you are not needed as a floating technician, you will be assigned administrative tasks (creating learning materials, training newer technicians, etc. to meet the 40 hours weekly).

The duties of the Behavior Technician are:

  • Working with the child in a number of skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine/gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills.

  • Integrating the child's family into therapy sessions.

  • Data collection and making data-based decisions.

  • Learning strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays.

  • Attending team meetings and coordinating with a team of therapists.

Required experience:

  • This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at an EAS clinic within an hour or less of being notified of a session needing coverage. 

  • Bachelors degree or pursuit of degree in psychology, education, child development, sociology, social work or related field (Preferred)

  • Experience working with young children or children with disabilities.

  • RBT (Highly Preferred)

  • ABA experience (Required)

Other requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be 18 years of age at time of hire

  • Physical requirements may include: Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Business hours are from 8 am to 7 pm, and some Saturdays. You should expect to be on call during those days and times.
