Production Associate - Product Handler 2nd Shift

Bell & Evans is seeking a Production Associate to join our Tray Pack department. The Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of production duties to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

This position plays an important role in maintaining food safety, product quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties within the Tray Pack department to support the fulfillment of customer orders.
• Place product into trays on the conveyor belt according to established production procedures.
• Inspect product and identify any defective or non-conforming items.
• Remove defective products from the production line and place them in the designated re-work area.
• Follow all company food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Immediately report any safety or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing, food processing, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• No formal education is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team.

Language Skills

• Ability to speak and understand English or Spanish
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and employees throughout the organization.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food production environment. The successful candidate must be able to follow established safety and food safety procedures while maintaining productivity and product quality.
