Bakery Team Leader 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading all bakery operations, ensuring high-quality fresh baked goods, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Our bakeries are built on providing fresh breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts daily for both everyday enjoyment and special occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bakery operations, including production, merchandising, and sales performance.
• Schedule, train, supervise, and develop bakery staff to ensure strong team performance.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and replenishment of bakery supplies and products.
• Ensure consistent product quality, freshness, and presentation standards are met.
• Perform and oversee baking, cake decorating, and production as needed.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer requests or special orders.
• Drive department goals, productivity, and overall performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or supermarket bakery environment required.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to train, manage, and motivate a team.
• Experience in baking, cake decorating, and bakery production preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow and execute programs and goals.
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
