Consequently, the Quality Control (QC) department is critical to the growth of the business and to customer satisfaction.

The Quality Control Technician works primarily in the Quality Control department of a branch warehouse but may be temporarily reassigned to work in any other warehouse department. These short reassignments are dictated by the flow of work and the demands of the business. Employees in this role will help out in all disciplines (audio, video, projection, etc.) of the QC department and must have a general proficiency with basic AV equipment and computers.

Job Description and Responsibilities 

•Maintain all Screen kits and packages.

•Maintain all monitors and touchscreens.  

•Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items. 

•Assemble and configure screens for client delivery. 

•Organize and store all tested equipment. 

•Ensure all equipment is presentable and in ideal working conditions. 

•Possesses a basic understanding of inventory software for forecasting of workload.  

•Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs. 

•Assist other departments when necessary. 

•Follow direction of the department leader and managers. 

•Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance. 

•Complies with company policies and procedures. 

•Performs additional duties as assigned.

This job operates in a warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; communicate with coworkers. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are subject to change and may rotate. Needs of the business may dictate long hours and weekend work during high-demand periods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
