Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate and dependable Operating Room Transporter/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Surgical Services team at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

- Hours per week: 40 hours per week

In this position the Operating Room Transporter/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will:
- Safely transport patients to and from surgical suites.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to transport.
- Assist with patient transfers while maintaining safety, dignity, and privacy.
- Communicate patient concerns, unusual symptoms, or changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
- Support PACU staff with patient transport and other assigned duties.
- Provide direction, encouragement, and support to patients and family members.
- Restock supplies and obtain equipment from designated hospital locations.
- Assist with operating room cleaning, turnover, and preparation between surgical cases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and assigned work areas.
- Assist in orienting new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
