This position is responsible for following and tracking open purchase orders, while also taking an active role in inventory analysis — including processing returns and evaluating and making recommendations for inactive/slow-moving stock.


This position is in-office in Bedford, NH; Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Wage - $55,000. - $65,000. Based on experience and an excellent benefits package.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.
  • Conduct a systematic follow-up process on all open purchase orders to minimize delays and customer outages due to shortage of purchased material.
  • Work with suppliers to expedite orders, ensuring they are delivered as required and on time.
  • Process email requests from sales to expedite purchase orders.
  • Review and process discrepant inventory and invoicing issues.
  • Coordinate all company inventory returns.
  • Place purchase orders for company stock and sales back orders.
  • Work with suppliers to acknowledge and confirm purchase orders.
  • Process email requests from sales to place orders and quote pricing.
  • Review inventory levels and advise planning as needed.
  • Generate and analyze inactive/slow-moving inventory reports, identifying stock for return, markdown, or discontinuation.
  • Support inventory accuracy efforts and flag discrepancies for review.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Solid work history.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training and/or education a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Experience with industrial products a plus.
  • 1–3 years of purchasing/supply chain experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel), as well as ERP Systems Experience; Prophet 21 (P21) experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret inventory data and identify trends.
  • Experience with and comfortable with using AI applications and tools to support day-to-day work.
