Meador Manufacturing is a family-owned precision CNC machine shop in Walton Hills, Ohio. We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is critical to ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent quality standards. The CNC Lathe Operator will work in a fast-paced factory environment and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Lathes.Â
Shift (floating schedule)
- Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – Noon (optional overtime)
- NO WEEKENDS
What you’ll do
- Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce precision parts to spec
- Load programs, install tooling, and set offsets
- Monitor first-piece and in-process quality; make adjustments as needed
- Read blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets
- Perform basic troubleshooting and keep the machine running efficiently
- Work with programmers, quality, and other operators to hit quality and delivery goals
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate production documentation
What you bring
- Hands-on CNC lathe experience (Haas experience is a plus)
- Ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools
- Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Reliability on a consistent shop-floor schedule
