Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, orderly environment by screening individuals and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. This customer-focused role calls for clear communication, attention to detail, and a professional presence that helps deter incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, drivers, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations; document visitor activity, delivery information, and irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
