 SUMMARY

 Assist in development of written process instructions, document observations, assist in training workers, perform audits per schedule, assist in problem solving and in process development/improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
  • Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished products.
  • Investigate or report questionable test results.
  • Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
  • Adhere to company work rules, policies, procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager.

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No Supervisory Responsibilities 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Must be able to work safely
  • Computer skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Work in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to heat, loud noise, dust, odors, dirt/dust and fumes
  • Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and grasp
  • Frequently lift and lower up to 50 pounds. Assistance is required when lifting over 50 pounds
  • Frequently carry up to 50 pounds. Assistance is required when lifting over 50 pounds
