About the Role:
Trash Gremlin Disposal is looking for a reliable and hardworking Residential Trash Pick-Up Driver to join our growing team in Lakehills, TX! Responsibilities:
- Operate a residential waste collection vehicle along assigned routes in the Lakehills, TX area
- Collect and load household trash, recycling, and waste bins in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols while operating collection vehicles
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and work area throughout each shift
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or service issues
- Provide courteous, professional service to residential customers on your route
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one
- Previous experience operating large or commercial vehicles is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong sense of punctuality and reliability — early morning start times required
- Knowledge of or ability to learn local Lakehills, TX residential routes
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
