Responsibilities

  • The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
  • The Practitioner will provide In-Basket coverage and clinical support for primary care practices, including responding to patient messages, reviewing and addressing clinical requests, coordinating follow-up care, and assisting with timely access to care.
  • The Practitioner will focus on disease education and management, improving quality of patient care and patient outcomes, expanding access to care, and assisting with care coordination.
  • The Practitioner will coordinate the care of patients, communicate effectively, and collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals

Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and interact tactfully with patients, physician, staff, visitors, and the general public.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Have the ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team, managing a variety of tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, personal integrity, and commitment to teamwork
  • Show strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Have the ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity, maturity, and discretion
  • Have competency and proficiency with electronic medical record system and knowledge using clinical applications

 

License/Certification Requirements:

  • Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Must have updated Maryland license: Maryland PA License or Maryland NP Certification

Max

USD $75.42/Hr.

Salary Information

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
