Frontgate Ambassador

Do you enjoy creating great guest experiences and making people feel welcome? Frontgate | Avon is looking for a friendly, service-minded Ambassador to be a key part of our front desk team. This is a guest-facing role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying organized, and finding solutions when guests need assistance. From arrival through departure, you'll help ensure every interaction reflects the high level of service our property is known for.

What You’ll Do Includes:

• Welcome guests and assist with arrivals, departures, reservations, and other front desk needs
• Respond to questions, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a genuine service-first approach
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to communicate guest and owner needs and help ensure requests are handled efficiently
• Receive, organize, and distribute mail and packages while completing routine administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
• Keep the front desk and surrounding workspace neat, organized, and ready to welcome guests

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay Rate: $23-25/hour, depending on experience; sign on bonus paid half after 30 days and half after 60 days from date of hire.

Schedule: Typically 8:00am–6:00pm in summer and winter; 8:30am–5:00pm in the off-season. Some weekends and holidays required. Flexible scheduling available, 4–5 days per week based on operational needs.

The ideal candidate should maintain a professional appearance and possess a friendly, helpful demeanor to address guest needs and concerns. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues, along with the ability to multitask efficiently, handling calls, check-ins, and more simultaneously. Familiarity with property management systems, phone systems, and basic computer applications is important, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
