Electrical Engineering candidate willing to be a part of a dynamic electronic repair facility supporting manufacturing equipment. The purpose of the job is to repair, upgrade, modify, or verify sub components of a wide variety of complex automatic/logic controlled electronic or electro-mechanical equipment at a component level.

Important duties include:

  • Using advanced diagnostic techniques;
  • improvising circuits or equipment to special needs;
  • working independently on assigned projects;
  • performing complex analysis of major malfunctions to the component level;
  • performing calibrations traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.


Important skills and abilities include:

  • setting up, operating and adjusting complex instrumentation;
  • knowledge of analog, digital, and RF electronics;
  • moderate circuit design abilities;
  • high level of mechanical ability (i.e. considerable knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and fluidics, and safe working procedures)


Qualifications:

  • In the process of completing BS Electrical Engineering Degree with a focus on electronics
  • Capable of working on projects without supervision
  • Fundamental knowledge of AC and DC electronics
  • Root cause problem solving skills
  • Collaborative thinker
  • Organized - project management
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings, train others, and write documents
