Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, one rotating weekend day per month

Pay: state range $27 to $40 per hour

Location: Presbyterian Village Austell- Austell, GA

Setting: Continuing Care Retirement Community, Rehabilitation Center

Diverse CCRC Setting:  Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, On-campus Home Health, Outpatient

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will:

  • Provide support as an active member of our rehabilitation team: physical, occupational & speech therapy
  • Assist patients to their therapy groups
  • Complete essential administrative tasks
  • Prepare therapy room for patient care
  • Coordination of Telehealth

Primary responsibilities are:

Administrative & Front Office Support

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Schedule therapy appointments and maintain daily therapy schedules
  • Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain patient records and documentation
  • Manage filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks
  • Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and staff regarding therapy services


Patient & Department Support

  • Transport residents safely to and from therapy appointments as needed
  • Assist therapists with treatment room and equipment setup
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure supplies are readily available
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy gym and treatment areas
  • Support therapists with non-clinical tasks to promote efficient patient care

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
