Description

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is in search for a full-time or part-time CNA/MA for our long term cared department, Memorial Community Health. This position is for full-time or part-time evening shift with every other weekend/holiday. 

The CNA/MA Conducts and coordinates non-professional care to residents including but not limited to basic activities of daily living in coordination with the resident assessment and care plan.

Job Duties:

  • Performs responsibilities related to the provision of resident care.
  • Participates as an effective member of the care team.
  • Prepares and uses necessary equipment.
  • Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within a Certified Medication Aide/Certified Nurse Aide scope of practice.
  • Performs and maintains documentation.
  • Promotes and ensures resident and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
  • Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained.
  • Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations.\
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Current Medication Aide certification with the State of Nebraska
  • Current CNA certification with the State of Nebraska
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers
