Cross Dock Manager
Location: Aurora, CO

Role Summary
If you see yourself as a hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-moving distribution environment, working at Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. may be the perfect fit. We are hiring a Cross Dock Manager, a key leadership role, for our Aurora, CO location.
This critical leadership role will support the efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance of our distribution network. As the Cross Dock Manager, you will oversee daily cross-dock operations, lead a team of delivery drivers, and ensure safe, timely, and organized delivery execution. This position will play an essential part in the success of our U.S. and Canadian supply chain.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise the activities of drivers to ensure the productivity and safety of our drivers, vehicles, and equipment, and our customers’ products. 
  • Ensure safe & timely delivery of invoiced products to our established customers. 
  • Performance of your team – review & drive personal metrics, perform regularly scheduled observations, adherence to driver schedules, and pre-determined routes. 
  • Document, schedule, and verify completion of regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs to the company fleet. 
  • Communicate directly with distribution center leaders on the condition and timeliness of received shipments. 
  • Communicate with the Customer Service team on returns, damaged products, etc. 
  • Maintain the physical condition of your facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, and organization (5S). 
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports. 
  • Direct daily cross-dock operations, leading a team of professional drivers to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of all invoiced products.
  • Coordinate delivery routes and schedules, monitoring driver performance, adherence to routes, and on-time delivery KPIs.
  • Conduct regular driver observations, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to maintain high safety and productivity standards.
  • Oversee DOT-compliant fleet maintenance, including scheduling repairs, logging service records, and minimizing downtime.
  • Partner with distribution center leadership to monitor inbound shipment quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Communicate with Customer Service regarding returns, damages, and delivery issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in alignment with 5S principles.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for leadership review.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Assume other duties as assigned. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work.
  • Ensures quality standards are met.
  • Hire, terminate, train, and implement ongoing development for all cross-dock staff.
  • Review performance and administer corrective action for staff.  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent. 
  • Prior senior lead/supervisor experience. 
  • At least 5 years+ of experience in transportation and material handling activities for high volume warehousing and/or freight consolidation trucking terminal operations. 
  • Must be able to work in cooperation and communicate effectively with others. 
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs. 
  • Have no motor vehicle violations within the last 24 months 
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, and climb.
