Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for the start-up activities of clinical research protocols initiated at Piedmont. Projects will span service lines and operational, clinical and financial areas and will be determined based on researchers' interest and engagement.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in a healthcare discipline Required or
  • In Lieu of degree six (6) years of clinical research, healthcare or related field Required
Work Experience
  • 5 years experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting Required or
  • In lieu of degree eleven (11) years of experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting Required
  • Clinical trial (investigational drug and/or device) experience Required and
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and IRB processes Required
  • Community and academic experience in research Preferred
