About the Role:
As an Area Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of four communities, ensuring exceptional service to current and prospective tenants through effective management practices. Your role involves managing lease agreements, coordinating building inspections, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and Fair Housing laws across both properties. You will lead multiple property management teams, implement budgets, conduct financial reporting, and coordinate between properties to optimize operations and resource allocation. You will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our company by providing exceptional service, maintaining high occupancy rates, and ensuring the profitability of both properties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or a related field, with demonstrated multi-property or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification as a Property Manager (e.g., CPM, CAM) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Yardi and other property management software.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple properties or supervising property management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
- Manage lease agreements across both properties, including renewals, terminations, and tenant communications.
- Conduct regular building inspections at both properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead and supervise property management teams across both locations.
- Utilize Yardi for tracking tenant information, rent collections, and financial reporting for both properties.
- Coordinate operations and best practices between the two properties to maximize efficiency and profitability.
