Survey Office Technician Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:Â
• Work with a team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiencyÂ
• Research deeds, recorded plats, and other public or private documents necessary for survey project completionÂ
• Download and process survey field data and drone dataÂ
• Interpret and plot record deeds and plats for all types of property surveysÂ
• Develop, draft, and modify drawings and relevant files related to final plats and surveys in AutoCAD Civil 3DÂ
• Draft legal descriptions for boundaries and easementsÂ
• Aid in the creation of field views to verify data plots and ensure land features are as depicted on project survey mapsÂ
• Collaborate with internal departments on project detailsÂ
• Report recurring field errors in coding, line work, or incorrect field note format to co-workers and supervisors as neededÂ
