Position Summary

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all out incoming products and accurately processing all incoming material. This position reports to the Plant Manager. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all orders for shipment by reviewing shipping orders, and assembling the order weighing, wrapping, banding and labeling.
  • Ensure accuracy of paperwork and product being received.
  • Unload shipments from the truck with forklift or hand jack.
  • Maintain receiving information, call carriers for daily deliveries, and balance UPS log daily.
  • Process all incoming materials by inventorying, tagging, and staging for stockroom.
  • Maintain record of incoming materials and purchase orders.
  • Verify orders with received goods and processes and unloads material from trucks.
  • Maintain MRO records.
  • Comply with all ISO 9001 shipping and receiving quality procedures.
  • Deliver material to stock room or quality department. 
  • Able to perform in a team environment.
  • Required following all safety rules, use of proper PPE, and report any safety concerns


Experience and Education Required

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written communication. 
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Microsoft D365 Knowledge preferred. 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Requires standing continuously and walking occasionally throughout the day up to ten hours.
