32-015 – Activity Security Representative II
Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative II to support Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
The Activity Security Representative provides multi-disciplined security support to government facilities and organizations and performs day-to-day security functions supporting Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
Current Billet Requirements
- Mandatory: 3–5 years of related experience.
- Mandatory: SAP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- A bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
- A related associate’s degree counts as two years of experience.
- SFPC counts toward one year of experience.
- SPSC counts toward one year of experience.
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Maintain document accountability databases and related correspondence.
- Process classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction and reproduction of classified materials.
- Process magnetic media for accountability.
- Maintain administrative and document-control logs.
- Process inbound and outbound data-transfer files.
- Transfer authorized electronic data to internal customers.
- Maintain customer point-of-contact information.
- Research, process, file, and maintain visit notices.
- Escort visitors and maintain associated visitor-control records.
- Prepare facility access-control badges.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Support facility access-control and visitor-control systems.
- Maintain personnel-security files and sponsored billet/access information.
- Review and monitor security-clearance processing activities.
- Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections.
- Implement Top Secret control for accountable materials and correspondence.
- Process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipts.
- Prepare, process, and review Program Access Requests for accuracy and eligibility.
- Execute SAP nomination questionnaires.
- Conduct applicable personnel-access database reviews for SAP candidates.
- Maintain current customer-sponsored personnel access information.
- Perform indoctrinations.
- Support security awareness and education programs.
Experience
- 3–5 years of related security experience.
- SAP experience required.
- SFPC and SPSC may each count toward one year of experience.
- Total SPED certification equivalency may not exceed three years.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
- Related associate’s degree counts as two years of experience.
Certifications
- DoD SAPCO-approved SAPNP training required if performing personnel-security functions.
Security Clearance
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- SCI eligibility required.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information.
- Must be willing to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site at the Pentagon.
