Luther Village in Arlington Heights is looking for a responsible and organized individual to join our kitchen team. The individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and culinary tools, including a dish machine, three–compartment sinks, handwashing stations, mixers, a meat slicer, ovens, grills, flat tops, steamers, and kettles in a fast-paced environment. Must maintain a clean and organized kitchen by emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors in both kitchens, and washing and sanitizing workstations and equipment. Assist in light prep work and accepting delivered items.

Must be available to work 11 am - 7pm Monday - Saturday and Sundays 7 am - 2 pm

Requirements

Communication and an understanding of English are required.

Must be available and have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

ADA SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential duties require the following physical abilities and work environment:

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
