Help Young Learners Build a Strong Start
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dependable early childhood educator to join our 4K First Steps team. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference during one of the most important stages of a child’s development.
As a 4K Teacher, you will create an engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. You will develop meaningful learning experiences aligned with First Steps 4K requirements and our academy’s curriculum, support each child’s social and academic growth, and build positive relationships with families.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that meet program and academy standards
- Bring learning to life through hands-on activities, music, movement, stories, technology, and play
- Provide individualized support that builds each child’s curiosity, confidence, and independence
- Observe, document, and assess student development and provide timely feedback
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Create a positive classroom culture that supports children’s social-emotional development
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families about their child’s progress
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and program partners
- Plan meaningful indoor and outdoor learning experiences
- Recognize and report developmental, behavioral, or safety concerns when appropriate
- Participate in training, workshops, and ongoing professional development
- Follow all licensing, health, safety, and First Steps 4K requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- At least six months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Ability to successfully complete all required background and Central Registry checks
- Current TB test and physical examination
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred—or willingness to obtain certification
