Position Summary


The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions across LiveTrends Design Group. This position serves as a key partner to hiring managers and department leaders, ensuring the organization attracts, evaluates, and hires talented individuals who possess the skills, experience, values, and cultural alignment necessary to support the continued growth and success of the company.


The Recruiter will manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and will be expected to maintain a strong sense of urgency while delivering a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, customer-service oriented, confident communicating with candidates and hiring leaders, and capable of balancing competing priorities without sacrificing quality.


The Recruiter will develop and execute creative sourcing strategies utilizing recruiting websites, applicant tracking systems, employee referrals, professional networking platforms, search firms, job fairs, college and university recruiting, professional organizations, community partnerships, social media, on-site recruiting, and other appropriate talent acquisition resources.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the LiveTrends employer brand and will represent the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, discretion, and integrity throughout every stage of the recruiting and hiring process.


Specific Accountabilities


Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through candidate selection, offer acceptance, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, team dynamics, business needs, and the qualifications necessary for success.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies based on the position, labor market, urgency, and availability of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain responsibility for an assigned requisition workload while effectively managing priorities in a high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Ensure assigned positions are filled efficiently, effectively, and within established recruiting timeline of 45 days.
  • Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, challenges, and anticipated hiring timelines.
  • Proactively identify potential recruiting obstacles and recommend solutions to maintain momentum and achieve hiring objectives.

Candidate Sourcing

  • Source qualified candidates through recruiting websites, applicant tracking systems, employee referrals, professional networking platforms, social media, search firms, job fairs, college and university recruiting, professional associations, community organizations, on-site recruiting, and other sourcing channels.
  • Develop and maintain active candidate pipelines for recurring, difficult-to-fill, and high-volume positions.
  • Create compelling job advertisements that accurately communicate position responsibilities, qualifications, career opportunities, and the LiveTrends employee experience.
  • Utilize creative and proactive sourcing techniques rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates and maintain appropriate communication with qualified prospects for future opportunities.
  • Represent LiveTrends at career fairs, recruiting events, college events, community events, and other talent acquisition activities as needed.

Candidate Evaluation & Selection

  • Review resumes and applications to determine candidate qualifications and alignment with established job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone, video, or in-person behavioral screening interviews to evaluate candidates' experience, skills, communication abilities, career interests, and overall fit.
  • Utilize structured interview techniques and behavioral-based questions to assess candidate capabilities.
  • Deploy job-specific assessments and analyze results towards hiring results.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between qualified candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide hiring managers with timely, objective, and well-informed candidate recommendations.
  • Maintain appropriate candidate records and documentation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates throughout the hiring process, including providing appropriate updates regarding interview status and next steps.
  • Deliver a consistent, respectful, and positive candidate experience regardless of the hiring decision.

Offers & Hiring

  • Extend employment offers to selected candidates in accordance with approved compensation structures and company guidelines.
  • Communicate compensation, benefits, start dates, employment conditions, and other relevant employment information clearly and professionally.
  • Participate in compensation discussions and negotiate offers within established company guidelines and approval parameters.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and ensure all required hiring documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain communication with candidates between offer acceptance and their first day to promote engagement and reduce candidate fall-off.
  • Initiate and coordinate onboarding plans with Human Resources, hiring managers, and appropriate departments.
  • Ensure hiring managers are prepared for new employees prior to their start date.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate or facilitate new-hire orientation as assigned.
  • Partner with Human Resources and hiring managers to ensure new employees experience a professional, organized, and welcoming introduction to LiveTrends.
  • Ensure new hires receive appropriate information regarding company policies, procedures, expectations, benefits, and resources.
  • Support follow-up activities associated with the new-hire experience as needed.
  • May conduct or assist with exit interviews and communicate relevant themes or feedback to HR leadership.

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and timely recruiting activity, candidate information, interview records, and disposition information within the company's applicant tracking and HR systems.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and maintain visibility into open requisitions, candidate pipelines, aging positions, interview activity, offers, and hiring status.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics and key performance indicators by publishing a recruiting dashboard.
  • Identify trends in recruiting activity and recommend opportunities to improve sourcing effectiveness, candidate quality, speed-to-hire, and overall recruiting efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
  • Ensure recruiting practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.

Hiring Manager & Internal Customer Service

  • Establish strong working relationships with hiring managers and department leaders and serve as a trusted recruiting partner.
  • Provide responsive, professional, and solution-oriented service to internal customers.
  • Communicate clearly regarding recruiting progress, candidate availability, market conditions, compensation expectations, and hiring challenges.
  • Set appropriate expectations with hiring managers regarding recruiting timelines and candidate availability.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Follow through on commitments and ensure stakeholders are kept informed throughout the hiring process.



Requirements

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent recruiting experience may be considered.
  • 3–6 years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume, full-cycle recruiting across multiple positions and/or departments.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, professional networking platforms, employee referrals, social media, career fairs, and direct sourcing.
  • Strong behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment skills, including experience with behavioral-based interviewing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with a genuine commitment to providing a positive candidate and hiring-manager experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate recruiting documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative HR team.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt recruiting strategies when traditional approaches are not producing the desired results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within a high-growth organization or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Experience recruiting for both professional and hourly/non-exempt positions.
  • Experience recruiting for operations, manufacturing, warehouse, greenhouse, logistics, supply chain, sales, corporate, or creative/product-related positions.
  • Experience with Paylocity or other modern HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Experience conducting on-site recruiting and high-volume hiring events.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience developing recruiting metrics, dashboards, or hiring reports.
  • Experience with employer branding and social media recruiting.
