Project Engineer - Plant


Join Our Team

We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead capital equipment, facility improvement, and new product launch projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys managing projects from concept through implementation while working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to improve safety, efficiency, and plant performance.


What You'll Do

  • Lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Coordinate equipment installations, plant upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and layout changes.
  • Support new product launches, equipment startup, commissioning, and validation activities.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and internal resources to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Drive initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and lead root cause investigations for equipment and process issues.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving techniques.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of engineering or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing capital equipment, facility, or industrial improvement projects.
  • Strong project planning, organization, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
