Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDÂ
- Manual inspections to identify surface defects using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and optical comparators.
- Experience with engines such as springs, valves and fasteners
- Interpret Blueprints, GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
- Documenting defects and creating Non-Conforming Material Reports
- 2 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment. Â
- Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving
- Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Â
- Experience with engine parts is a plus
- CMM experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished productsÂ
- Working experience with high-precision measurements
- Manual inspections using micrometres, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
- Non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Inspection Report experience
